Finding the right artist can be stressful, so I am here to help! Below are questions and answers to help guide you in the right direction to look and feel your best for your special event.

DEPOSIT


Are deposits required?

There will be a $50 non-refundable deposit per person initiated through Square, Venmo, or Zelle. Information will be provided upon booking and payment is due within 24 hours of receiving your contract to reserve the requested date and time, and they will be transferred to the service total. If the client cancels their appointment, the deposit will then be their cancellation fee.

If I send a deposit for a party/multiple people and 1 or more persons decide to not go forward with the service, will I receive my deposit back for those people?

No, deposits are nonrefundable and their decision to not move forward will result in the deposit transferring to their cancelation fee.

BOOKING

How far in advance do I need to book an appointment?

For general events, I encourage booking one month before the event. For brides/bridal parties, I recommend at least 4 months before the wedding. Keep in mind that Saturday is my busiest day of the week, so plan accordingly!

How will I receive appointment reminders?

Automated emails and texts will be sent to you. It is also advised to add our appointment time to your calendar and to double-check the appointment reminders of the exact date and time.


What is the best way to contact you?

I encourage filling out my contact form at this time. I also recommend scheduling a phone call appointment through your contact form. Please refrain from calling randomly as I will not answer.

SERVICES

How do I prep for a makeup appointment with you?

  • Please have your face cleansed and moisturized. I recommend maintaining a day and nighttime skin care routine to ensure skin is smooth and supple on your big day! Highly encourage self care treatments such as facials and derma planning as preparation for your wedding day and/or special occasion. In addition, I encourage you to get your brows groomed based off your preference.

  • If you did not book a bridal preview, please bring 2-3 inspiration photos for reference. If not, your service will be freestyles based on the desired details you provide.

  • If you want to help with setting up, I ideally would like to set up in front of a large window for natural lighting. A large table near outlets is needed to work and plug in ring lights. If you have a high chair or bar stool that would be ideal. If not, please let me know so I can provide my own for the appointment.

  • Please refrain from using your cell phone, eating, or getting. up from the chair multiple times when getting serviced.

Do you have a team to help you?

At this time, I am a one-woman team. If you are in need of a larger team, I am happy to share a list of referrals to other amazing solo artists in order for you to customize your glam squad.

Will my makeup last all day?

Typically, the makeup can last 8+ hours, however, under certain weather conditions, the lasting time may vary. For the majority of my clients, they report saying their makeup held up through the entire day and night. If you are concerned about longevity, I do offer in-person touch-ups.

What brands/products do you use?

My kit consists of a mix of brands that you may be familiar with when you walk into Sephora or Ulta. I range from brands such as Charlotte Tilbury, Fenty Beauty, Urban Decay, MAC, Makeup by Mario, Makeup Forever, and many more.



How can I be sure you are not cross-contaminating products?

Before each session, all surfaces are sprayed and wiped with medical-grade cleaners. Following this, a towel is placed to protect the products from the surfaces. Between clients, all products are sanitized and contaminated disposable products are thrown away. Brushes are deeply cleansed at home and further disinfected inside a UV box for at least 3 hours. I do not reuse dirty brushes on clients or proceed to the next client without disinfecting.

Do you provide hair services?

At this time, I only am licensed and specialized in makeup and skin related services. If you are in need of a hair stylist, I am happy to share a list of referrals to other amazing hair stylists in order for you to customize your glam squad.

TRAVEL

How far do you travel?

I travel all over Florida, mainly servicing clients in Tampa, Orlando, Brooksville, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Sarasota, Ocala, and many more areas. I will gladly service clients in any location, even out of state, if they are willing to cover travel costs and potential hotel accommodations if needed.

Do you have a salon or are you travel-only?

I am currently a travel-only artist, therefore I will be traveling to you for your event.


What are your rates for travel?

Travel fees are based on location. If you are within a 30mi radius, the base travel fee is $50. Every additional mile will be +$1/1mi added to the $50 base travel fee. Where parking, valet, or toll fees may be incurred, the amount will be added to the final bill. Please send an inquiry for an accurate quote.

When are hotel accommodations required?

Hotel accommodations are required under these conditions:
-If venue location is 100 miles or more one way AND if the service duration is a minimum of 2 hours,
-If wedding is 1 or more days long. ie: cultural weddings with various ceremonies AND/OR
-If services begins before sunrise AND venue/getting ready location is 25 miles or more one way.

Do you charge any fees in addition to travel?

The additional fees that may be included in your total are:

- An “Early Bird” fee : $50 for every hour before 8am

- An “After Hours” fee: $50 for every hour after 4pm

- A late fee: $25 will be added to the total balance every 15 min that a client is late

- A “Same day appointment” : $50 added to the total when a client books their makeup service on the same day of said service


WEDDING

Do I have to book a trial?

Trials are recommended and required when booking your bridal makeup. The purpose of a trial is to get a better understanding of your artist and what to expect for your big day. Generally, if you are indecisive between makeup looks and need guidance you will find that a trial will be beneficial to you.

How do I calculate when to finish getting ready on my wedding day?

Once the wedding party is booked, I will forward a timeline for the getting ready portion of the day. Generally, you would like to finish hair and makeup an hour and a half before the start of the ceremony time. This gap allows you to get dressed and to take any pictures. Please note that some photographers may need additional time to take photos of you and your party before the ceremony. If this is the case, please let me know and I can work around the photographer’s schedule.

Since you are a one person team, how do I go about booking for multiple people?

Since I am a professional makeup artist, it’s recommended to hire a separate hairstylist to work side by side with. I do have a max capacity of 10 makeup services per bridal party. - this will take up to 8 hours for completion. If you require a larger team, I am happy to share a list of referrals to other amazing solo artists for you to customize your glam squad.

Q: If my husband needs minor touch ups (ie. cover acne) is this something you offer??

Absolutely! Please fill out a contact form so we can incorporate that into your wedding day services.

Do I have to provide you with a vendor meal?

If I am working for more than 5 hours, a vendor meal would be greatly appreciated. This time is calculated from the time of my arrival to the time of my departure. Venues only offer the vendor meals during dinner time, so I do not qualify for the venue’s vendor meal. Since my services will be finished before then, the bride must provide a lunch meal made to-go. Snacks and small bites to eat is not considered a meal.

Do you provide makeup services for MOG/MOB, women with more mature skin?

Absolutely. I have almost 10 years of professional makeup experience working with a wide range of skin types, ages, skin tones, etc. I have several examples on my Before/After portfolio showing beautiful transformations on women with more mature skin. I would love to do your mother’s makeup to make her feel beautiful on your special day.
